WASHINGTON, PA (July 14) - As of September 1, 2008, the Ultimate Pitching Machine, licensed by GameMaster, LLC, will be the official pitching machine for PONY Baseball and Softball.

The "Blue Flame" Ultimate Pitching Machine is one of the most versatile pitching machines on the market. It is lightweight, compact and affordable. This accurate machine allows batters to receive a consistent pitch every time they step up to the plate, eliminating the lingering fear of being hit by a pitch. The Ultimate Pitching Machine can be adjusted to pitch to all age groups, allowing players with a higher skill level to work on their swing for several different pitches. The machine is easy to use, and can throw a pitch from 18 to 45 mph by adjusting the spring.

Steve Bates, Director of Sales for GameMaster, feels that the partnership can be a mutually beneficial relationship. "We think GameMaster will benefit in this partnership by the fact that we will be able to reach more coaches, parents, and players more quickly to explain the many great benefits of using this innovative training device," Bates explained. "We think Pony Baseball and Softball will benefit most because their players will now be exposed to a training device that will better promote safety to the batter, and will put Pony out in front of the curve as far as innovations that promote excitement and fair play."

The Pinto World Series in Garden City, MI has already implemented the use of the Ultimate Pitching Machine. They chose this machine because it can throw at a universal hittable speed, and eliminate the problem of coaches pitching at different speeds.

PONY Baseball and Softball is pleased to announce this partnership, and is excited about the benefits it can bring to the organization. For more information, please visit www.pony.org.

GAME MASTER NAMED OFFICIAL PORTABLE PITCHING MACHINE
2008-06-20
TRENTON, NJ - Babe Ruth League, Inc. is pleased to announce that GameMaster, licensed by Louisville Slugger, has been named its "Official Portable Pitching Machine".

The GameMaster line of portable pitching machines are powerful and versatile training tools for all ages and levels of play. Developing players benefit from the ball's predictable course, which allows them to work on mechanics under consistent conditions. They allow players to get their swings in without the worry of being hit by the ball. Experienced baseball and softball players fine tune their swing technique and practice hitting different types of pitches.

What puts the GameMaster pitching machine series head and shoulders above the rest? They are mechanical pitchers - no batteries or electricity is needed. They are portable, easy to operate and available for baseball and softball. And because they are lightweight, they are perfect for youth backyard training or older athletes to use indoors with lightweight balls.

In making the announcement, BRL President/CEO Steven Tellefsen said, "We are proud of our new partnership with GameMaster. They share in our philosophy that every child with the desire to play baseball or softball should be afforded the opportunity to participate. One of the most enjoyable aspects of participating in baseball and softball is being able to hit the ball. By training with a portable GameMaster pitching machine, all kids will be able to develop good batting skills, work on eye-hand coordination and adjust to different pitches with the end result being an enjoyable time participating in the games of baseball or softball."

Expanding its licensed products, in 1999, GameMaster signed an agreement with Louisville Slugger to sell a line of baseball training items that make a positive difference in your game.
